Twilight moments

lady wearing a coat in an abandoned building
What lies behind closed doors
What lurks out of the window

The truth left to be told in between;

*

Here it comes, the hardest time of day
slowly, grievous the sun goes down

What a painful sight to engulf our eyes

Now blind as well we hear it clear

from the depth
I hear it breaks

  1. You’ve made a moment of quiet heartbreak deeply sensual… bottomless in its quiet beauty.
    You’ve given it a voice that taunts the challenge of standing there.
    Brave.
    Necessary, resonant, relevant…
    and brave.

  3. Bravo! Love this line – “The truth left to be told in between”
    Sometimes the “truth” is elusive and there are often many ideas of what that is.
