Alienation of the night

woman looking at the sky, alienation of the night, English poem
On the night of illusion,
all scrolls unwrapped and sad

Take me on to these lands of shame
take me on, and on
again

Fear is blind, deep in the hole
And when you ask me how
it takes me down

on these lands of shame and gore
Take me on and on

these nights of illusion
                                    my skin peeled off
                                   and rough and old

It takes me on, and on
in anguish of
                                   extermination

Again,

on and on and on,
every single night
When the beast arrives
*
on my deathbed
