Mistake

 Fill me up with your delusion
 Drink me up with your tongue
 Beware, out  there at the nest
 a poisonous trap,
 mine is cunning and sharp
  
 Now you see, you are stained
 too much excitement
 too much of loss
 Regrets prowling unspoken, sadly
 my mind filled up
 all trapped inside
  
 And I did not die
 Yearning a second time
 I did not live, no
 Cursing the moment
 Skin of mine
  
 Tell me why
 and tell me how
 Tell me why you did not
 leave in the moment of bloom
  
 “We are not to blame for the unseen”
  
 Do not move, do not ask
 Atonement appears before us
 Brave you will be, in a heart of a slave
 Steady and real
 A reckless girl
  
 “You are not to blame for the unseen”
  
 *
 He was another kind
 a troublesome kind of sweet
 But not today
 Not today
  
 With memory blank
 you lose your tongue
  
 tonight;

I grew up and live in Athens, Greece. I started writing poetry in 2010, mostly as psychotherapy and after some time, I realized I really enjoy it. For me, poetry is another way to express my inner feelings or mental state, productively lifting some of the burdens I may have in my troubled mind/soul.
