Living Space

Here is an English translation of my Greek poem “Χώρος διαμονής“. You can also read it in the original form in my Greek poems category. Enjoy!

statue of a mermaid sitting on a big rock by the sea
I ascend
from the terrible mouth
I enter
in purification of the one
the sob unclean

Our house crumbles
while the inside wonders

What is the thorn that pierces me
What is the memory that taints me
When will the time erase
the wounds of an inglorious flee

Inside the room four walls
In there the silence blossoms
In there the waiting rips apart
When the whole will rise
The wound will emerge
Naked in her truth
As I dream of her now
Proud of her form
Loved by herself
Praised on her land

In there inside four walls
I find life; someday
